The Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications (ALEC) in Texas A&M University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences strives to educate its students on the importance of international agriculture through its international experience programs. Our programs span multiple continents and offer students opportunities to earn college credit while exploring new cultures!
Our faculty, staff and students work in many places such as Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Students can incorporate international foci into their programs in leadership, communications, or agricultural science through research, study abroad, and on-campus courses.
While abroad, students and faculty are encouraged to document their travels and share those experiences with others. Read student and faculty blogs posted on ALEC Abroad!
